Vote for Galaxy Parade on Bytejacker's Free Indie Rapid Fire!
08/12/10

Our 8-bit inspired shooter Galaxy Parade is being featured on the current episode of popular indie game show Bytejacker.

This week, Galaxy Parade is being featured alongside Sheriff Sam and Stream in Bytejacker's 'Free Indie Rapid Fire' segment. If you're unfamiliar with the 'Free Indie Rapid Fire', it probably means that you're not watching Bytejacker - and you should be!

The 'Free Indie Rapid Fire' is host Anthony Carboni's chance to share cool and free indie games with viewers, giving them a chance to vote on which game they liked best that week! Any notable video comments usually make it into next week's show, along with voting results in the segment called 'Free Indie Countdown'! Help us make Galaxy Parade a success by voting for it right now!

Interviewed by 'Professional Geek' Steven Savage at 'Fan to Pro' Blog
08/02/10

Just recently in May, I had the pleasure of meeting Steven Savage - author, public speaker, technology project manager and all-around professional geek. Things went so well that we decided to keep in touch. Naturally, when Steven recommended an interview with Revolver Games for his website, I thought it was a great idea.

The questions he ended up asking me proved thoroughly thought-provoking. I really had to consider exactly what I felt and wanted to say. It was a great exercise that I would gladly participate in again! I think more interviewers should take the chance to ask the questions that they really want to ask.

You can read the interview we had with Steven over at his 'Blog of Professional Geekery'!

Revolver Games Blogs Working Once More
06/23/10

After a few months of having problems with our posting due in part to Blogger's stance on FTP publishing, we're glad to say that our development blogs are available for viewing and posting once more! We're now posting once more to Galaxy Parade, Bijoux Red and our other projects.

We're still encountering a couple of issues, such as an unfortunate delay between the time you access our old, defunct blog and the time it redirects you to our new one, but we're currently changing the way that we publish posts entirely. This should solve all of our concerns and allow us to continue providing news and information on our work in an efficient and professional manner.

First IGDA Meeting, Release Date News and More
10/08/09

Today, key members of Revolver Games will be attending our first moderated discussion, and informal meeting, hosted by the Toronto chapter of the International Game Developers Association! We're all really excited and look forward to meeting, discussing and networking with other Toronto-based game developers. In other news, our friends over at Frozen North will be participating as panelists for a moderated discussion on running an Ontario game studio.

Some of you probably noticed that the planned August release date for our Bijoux Red ARC Combat Demo came and went uneventfully. I guess missing release dates is nothing new in the game world, but we're certain that we've been able to put this time to good use by polishing our product even further. While we're currently uncertain of the new release date for the demo, we're pretty sure that things look good for late October/early November. Despite the delay, we look forward to unveiling a special surprise in the coming days. Remember that you can join our Facebook Group to stay current as we update our blogs and put out material.

In other news, we're looking forward to revealing a few projects in the next few months, including plans and a possible prototype for a free arcade website from which players will be able to enjoy our many projects, keep track of achievements and network with other players. We're working very hard to put out only our best and keep everyone updated!
